There are many different dance styles all over the world. In certain cultures, dance plays an important part in storytelling, celebrations and rituals. In this project, you will explore a specific dance and dive into the rich history of the movement and music. Through your research you may learn about what costumes are worn for a specific dance and why. You may also learn where the dance is performed and if it is performed for special occasions. In addition to your research, you will learn specific steps from your assigned dance style. Choose some of your favorite movements and share them in your presentation.
