Realizing that she can't return home, Amal sets out, with the help of other servants, to get all of them home. I loved this book because Amal's determination, intelligence, and perseverance, even in hard times, helps her in different circumstances.

This is a continuation of a series, but you can read it separately. It is all about a young prince of faeries that is not loved and is as the blurb on the back of the book said "Raised on cat milk and contempt" . In a turn of events he becomes king (Read The Cruel Prince, by the same author), but it really focuses on him through his stages of childhood. When he was really young an old troll came and told him a story. Then when he is older he is told the same story by the same person but differently. The third time he finds the troll and tells her the story. I chose it because I like the theme and the set up of the book is interesting. Great read if you want something light. - Helena N.

This is a book about a group of kids that are on an airplane that crashes in the Amazon. They have to find their way out of the forest alone - but someone has been there before them. I just really like the book and it is different from what I usually read. - Helena N.

Radium Girls is a non-fiction book about girls who paint watch dials and get poisoned by radium. It's also a bit sad and there are some deaths in it, but overall it's a great book. - Madeleine G.

Heartless is about the Queen of Hearts before she grew up, her childhood. In the beginning she is a daughter of a baroness and in the end she is an evil queen. I found it very interesting. - Sophie B.

While the book teaches you some mathematical concepts like volume, rational and irrational numbers etc..., it also highly entertains the reader with funny drawings and little jokes. It also manages to teach you other subjects such as history, and biology, and even how the government works.
